Théâtre du Shaman
"The Passacaille is a very slow dance which was fashionable in France in the 17th century. Up on stage, chairs, tables, grandfather clocks, sickles, ladders and wardrobes are deep in discussion about a time long gone, or simply invented, in which humans and everyday objects lived in a spirit of silent complicity.
Among these nostalgic objects, three pairs spring into action, find hiding spaces and engage in a complex exercise in style, wavering between the most basic rusticity and the most sophisticated hermeticism."
