Two cars collide, two men find themselves the unwitting protagonists of a road accident. They wind up in the same hospital room, limbs in plaster and heads swathed in bandages. A sense of mutual hatred seethes beneath the dressings as they trade barbs, steal biscuits, act tough, pretend it doesn’t hurt and push ingratitude to its limits. But there is one thing they can both agree on: their mutual fear of the head nurse and her terrifying needles.
