Founded under the aegis of artistic director Cristina D. Silveira and technical director David Pérez Hernando, Karlik Danza Theatro has staged some 30 shows and organised countless workshops at high-profile festivals.
In 2007 the company created its own theatrical resource centre La Nave del Duende, based in Casar de Cáceres, providing a permanent base for their teaching activities and ongoing research exploring new forms of creativity and performance. In 2015 a dedicated research laboratory was launched, La Puerta Abierta Performing Arts, opening up new possibilities for the continuing development and evolution of innovative theatrical praxes.
