For over 40 years Yves Marc co-directed the Théâtre du Mouvement with Claire Heggen, based on the outskirts of Paris. The company performed in over 60 countries all over the world, and Yves Marc has taught in over twenty countries.

This epic adventure finally came to an end in 2017, culminating in an exhibition at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France and a jointly-authored book on the history of the Théâtre du Mouvement, its themes and its relationship with the world of mime and the theatre of movement.

Yves MARC has since decided to continue his artistic explorations in Gers, at the Clavères centre in Lectoure where he now shares his expertise with professionals and amateurs, works on new creations, organises artistic programmes and offers residencies for contemporary companies.
