After studying Butoh, dance and mime, Keisuke Kanaï left Japan in 1999 to join the Centre National des Arts du cirque in Châlons-en-Champagne. In 2002, he founded the Oki Haiku Dan contemporary circus company. He has collaborated with several directors and choreographers (Philippe Decouflé, Heddy Maalem), and has taken part in many artistic performances in Africa and Japan.
