It was back in the mid-1970s, in the company of a whole cohort of talented young mime artists, that Pep Bou made his professional debut as a performer. His technical studies and passion for the visual and physical arts nurtured his growing fascination with ephemeral spaces and malleable forms. Over the course of his career he has been a founding member of various theatre companies (Pa de Ral, La Viu Viu Teatre), and in 1982 he struck out as a solo artist with his distinctive brand of soap bubble theatre. Since then he has toured theatres and festivals all over the world, enchanting audiences of all ages and backgrounds and picking up numerous awards.
