Originally based in Aubervilliers as part of the Casa Nova collective, the company reached the finals of the “Young Circus Talent” competition at the Théâtre de la Cité Internationale. Au Fil du Vent has gone on to co-produce and stage numerous shows, as well as taking part in the Circus Workshops in Aubervilliers in 2004 and creating an original show with Gabriel Péri middle school in Aubervilliers in 2007. In 2008 the company moved to the Périgord region, and over the past decade has toured its different shows throughout France and Europe, including appearances at many leading festivals.
Johanna Gallard is a circus artiste, tightrope-dancer, author and performer who trained at the École Nationale du Cirque Annie Fratellini under Pierre Etaix, specialising in tightrope work. In 2014 she created an original character who lives on a tightrope. In 2015 she began to incorporate elements of clowning into her work, training at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque.
Adèll Nodé-Langlois is a clown, author and director, who trained as a dancer before moving on to study trapeze and acting at the Ecole Nationale de Cirque de Montréal (Canada). She co-founded the Pochéros circus in 1993. She became a fully-fledged clown in 2007 with her solo show Antigone, monologue clownesque, forming Compagnie Cie Atelier 29 and producing a series of shows featuring other clowns and musicians. In 2015 she played the clown in the tragedy Projet Penthésilée. She continues to direct and stage clown performances for a number of companies.
