As a contemporary circus and street art company, Les Apostrophés brings together artists from different horizons such as juggling, contemporary dance, theatre and music.
Founded on a desire and shared interest in juggling, the company conducts research, creating and improvising with new contemporary compositions based on body language and the manipulation/subversion of objects. The company performs in theatres, circus tents and in the street.
At the same time, Martin Schwietzke teaches juggling in the form of intensive courses in circus schools, most notably at the Stockholm School of Dance and Circus. In addition to traditional juggling techniques, he teaches "circle practice", a personal approach that he continues to develop.
