In 1982, Catalan Antoni Alba, Frenchman Bruno Delahaye, and Canadian Kévin Magill crossed paths at the Jacques Lecoq International School of Mime and Movement, in Paris.
A shared ambition brought them together: to inspire, provoke and nurture a sense of genuine complicity with the audience, with a clear focus on rhythm, dynamics and the pleasure of performance. The group soon earned a reputation for their original combination of movement and text.
Dram*Bakus is a theatre company with an unabashed passion for all things burlesque.
