The company’s mission is to examine the unique relationship we all have with our origins, identities and past, in a spirit of openness and tolerance.
Their first show, Passages, was created at Plateau 31 in Gentilly and premiered at Espace Beaujon in Paris. T(h)RACES, the company’s next project, was supported and hosted by the Théâtre de l’Enfumeraie in Sarthe.
Les Accordéeuses won creative development grants from the City of Créteil in 2011 and 2012, and received support from Spedidam for their most recent creation (B)rêves.
Since 2013, as well as developing a series of new projects, Les Accordéeuses have worked regularly with local schools to introduce pupils to the wonders of the theatre, visuals arts, photography and mime.
Les Accordéeuses’ education outreach and artistic workshops have been supported by the City of Créteil since 2013, and the Ile-de-France region since 2015.
