Founders and artistic directors Florencia Avila and Éric Martin met at the École du Mime Marcel Marceau in Paris, and have been developing their own dream-like artistic universe ever since, combining elements of clowning, masks, puppetry, visual arts and video.
Florencia Avila writes and directs shows that are simultaneously visual, burlesque, poetic and open to audiences of all ages and backgrounds, with no language barrier.
The company takes its name from their first ever show, Les Éléphants Roses, a hit which won various prizes and has now been performed 500 times in France and throughout Europe.
Les Eléphants Roses are part of the new wave of mime and theatre of movement, putting the theatricality of movement and the dramatic possibilities of the body at the heart of their work.
