Les Macloma finally returned to the circus roots of clowning in the form of a collaboration with Cirque du Soleil. They created the characters of three “old school” clowns (the White Clown, Augustus and the Eccentric) whose role was to provide a counterpoint to the magical structure and cutting-edge technology of the company’s show Quidam. They spent eight years touring that show all over the world, including a full season in Los Angeles.
