Circle of Eleven is a German production company specialising in innovative projects which combine multiple artistic disciplines (acrobatics, music, dance, theatre). Hence the company’s decision to produce Leo, a performance piece created by Tobias Wegner. Tobias Wegner trained at the École Supérieure des Arts du Cirque (ESAC) in Brussels before embarking upon an international career as a performer. His company Aiuaio won the “European Circus Young Talent” award in 2008 for their eponymous show. Wegner is both a writer and performer in his new show Leo, and to bring his vision to the stage he has called upon the talents of the artistic director of the Nouveau Théâtre Expérimental (Montreal), Quebec native Daniel Brière.
