Sadari Movement Laboratory

A moving and epic performance based on the division of the Korean peninsula.

Grandiosely staged, the Sadari Movement Laboratory evokes the movements, bodies and colours of Korea's agony. The action is presented in a minimalistic dramatic language against a backdrop of majestic scenes.

Between two gates traces the turbulent history of the Korean peninsula. A vanished homeland, a Nation divided, mothers mourning the loss of love, children and even their own femininity, find a powerful emotional resonance underscored by the accompaniment with traditional musical instruments.
