Ariadone - Carlotta Ikeda
Le langage du Sphinx is a breath of inspiration (or respiration) organised into seven tableaus. It all begins with an image, an encounter between a living woman and a cohort of lifeless mummies.
She walks through the desert, searching, seeing, disappearing. The mummies call out for their souls. The journey begins…
When the Sphinx is satisfied, the denuded bodies bask in the fleeting sense of plenitude restored. Writer-director Carlotta Ikeda also performs in this piece for seven dancers/mimes, interpreted here by a company composed entirely of women.
The perfect balance between visual and theatrical beauty, a gateway to philosophical reflection.
