Cie Artincidence
On stage, a dancer and an electric guitar player. The dancer begins an ordinary dance, the dance of the street with its knights errant: those Of No Fixed Abode. A dance without a social mask, bare-faced, with No Fixed Direction. The theatricality of the body and the controlled emotion communicate the intense sensation of a reality that leaves no one indifferent.
Annabel Guérédrat begins with the theatricality of the body, controlled improvisation, and reaches a state of raw emotion. She draws on her deepest reserves and presents an extraordinary range of expressions. A gestural language divided between the head and the heart, that is lived rather than danced, a vital emanation…
For SDF, she is accompanied by Patrice Soletti. He draws from his guitar a sound that is both concrete and electric, like Fred Frith in Step across the border… A perfect musical accompaniment for this solo that evokes a social and human reality: that of those who no longer belong to anyone or anything.
