Italian artist Laura Scozzi originally studied sociology, before switching to photography and then enrolling at the School of Dramatic Arts in Rome.
She subsequently moved to France and spent three years at the Ecole Marcel Marceau, where her professional career began to take off.
She founded Opinioni in Movimiento with the ambition of creating popular, multi-faceted shows which incorporate elements of mime, dance and theatre, all shot through with a keen sense of comedy.
Each new show is also the continuation of her ongoing exploration of the power of emotions.
In parallel to her work with the company, Laura Scozzi is an independent choreographer who has worked on numerous productions with hip-hop dance companies, as well as contributing choreography to a variety of lyrical, theatrical, cinematic and operatic projects.
