Nicole Mossoux and Patrick Bonté present a theatrical exploration of the works of Lucas Cranach.

Lucas Cranach was a painter active in the late 16th century. Devotional works, erotic scenes, portraits of princes and rich bourgeois… His entire œuvre is imbued with an indefinably strange aura.
This ineffable strangeness is what Nicole Mossoux and Patrick Bonté seek to convey in theatrical form.
The cold metal of a sword caressing a naked breast, the greedy mouth of a cardinal nearing the lips of some scaly beast...
An ambiguous, faintly perverse artistic universe translated to the stage with aplomb.
